Employment analysis: Compass College graduates of 2024

The Compass College Careers Centre has analysed the career prospects and professional paths of the 2024 graduating class. The survey was run via Google Forms from 12 to 29 June 2024, almost immediately after graduation.

Of the 75 graduates, 67 took part (89%), representing 5 departments: «Interior Design» (15), «Media Production» (14), «Fashion Design» (11), «Graphic Design» (18) and «Creative Business» (9).

At the time of the survey, 20 people (29.9%) were already in work and 47 (71.1%) were continuing their studies or planning to do so. On timing: 25.6% found work before finishing College, 10.3% within a month of graduating, and 18% between three and six months later.

The main routes into work were recommendations from teaching staff and employers, social media, careers fairs, job sites, partner organisations and the Compass College Careers Centre. This analysis helps the College refine its programmes and support graduates’ professional growth.
