How to apply to Compass College

Five steps from entrance exams to enrolment: exams, interview, contract, payment and registration on the Ministry of Education portal.

Step 1. Entrance exams

  • Mathematics
  • English
  • Essay
  • Drawing and painting (except applicants to the IT department)

Step 2. Introductory meeting / interview

Once the exams are done, you have an introductory meeting with the department curator, a member of the academic office and the head of student support and wellbeing. They talk you through the programme, how it works and the rules, and hold an interview with you.

Step 3. Signing the contract

To enrol or transfer from another college/university, you provide the following documents:

  • application form;
  • passport / birth certificate and taxpayer number (INN);
  • passport of a parent or guardian;
  • 2 colour photographs, 3×4;
  • military registration certificate (for male applicants);
  • certificate of basic general education (for Year 9);
  • certificate of secondary general education (for Year 11);
  • proof of study: a transcript or academic record (for transfers from another college/university).

Step 4. Paying the tuition contract

Within 3 days of signing the contract you need to make an initial tuition payment of 70,000 KGS. Tuition at Compass College for students starting in the 2026–27 academic year is 600,000 KGS per year and stays the same for the whole of your studies. The contract is signed with a parent or another legal representative acting under a power of attorney. Your chosen payment method is recorded in the annex to the Contract for the Provision of Paid Educational Services.

Step 5. Enrolment / registration on the state portal

After registering on the portal of the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic, the applicant is enrolled as a student of the College by order of the Director.
