Compass College creators take part in a conference with Global Creative Economy Council experts
Creators and teaching staff from Compass College, together with the Association of Creative Industries, took part in a conference with experts from the Global Creative Economy Council, held in Bishkek in the run-up to the World Creative Economy Forum (Tashkent, 2–4 October 2024).
The conference brought together leading global experts in the creative economy, including:
- Edna dos Santos-Duisenberg — economist and creative economy researcher, author of the first UNCTAD Creative Economy Report (Switzerland, Brazil);
- Dwinita Larasati — lecturer and researcher in industrial design, ITB (Indonesia);
- Rehana Mughal — Director of Creative Economy at the British Council (United Kingdom).
The conference gave creators from Kyrgyzstan the chance to exchange experience with leading experts and discuss the key trends shaping the creative economy. The presence of Compass College representatives underlines their role in developing the creative economy of Central Asia.
